ACT Closed Occupations List
Note: The ACT Closed Occupations List applies only to:
Canberra residents: If you are living in Canberra you are eligible to apply for ACT nomination of a closed occupation if you are working in a skilled occupation and you meet the nomination criteria.
Overseas residents: You may be eligible to apply for ACT nomination if you have close ties (job offer or close family) in Canberra and you meet the nomination criteria.

AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY (ACT)
SKILLED OCCUPATION LIST
The ACT Occupation List identifies the skills that are currently in demand in Canberra (for migration purposes).
This list applies to the following visa:
- Skilled Nominated Subclass190 visa
- ACT residents working in a skilled occupation may be eligible to apply for ACT nomination, even if the occupation is listed as ‘closed’ on the ACT Closed Occupation List.
Please note occupation lists are subject to change and the demand for all occupations will be reassessed in February 2018.
